Crowley House loves sharing the joy and beauty of flowers out on our farm.  Our Sip and Clips are an evening of slowing down and embracing the scenery and letting yourself relax into something creative.

The experience will start with a tour of the cutting gardens, where you can choose and cut your own blooms.  We will pour you a glass of local wine, and you can stroll amongst the gardens, savoring the slow movement of time with friends, both old and new.

Beth will demonstrate how to arrange a centerpiece, while taking you through her basic design philosophy. Then you can get started on creating your own arrangement to take home.  Beth and her team will be there for one-on-one support all the way.

All design materials for your simple floral arrangement are included in the class, along with small bites and glass of delicious local wine to enjoy!

Are you thinking of becoming a cut flower farm or farmer florist production? Do you wonder if it’s the right fit for you, and what actually goes into committing to this as a career?

Join Beth, founder of Crowley House Farm, on her flower farm in heart of wine country. Here she’ll go over all the basics of running her cutting gardens, and full production farm, from planning and planting, to harvesting and working with clients.

Learn from Beth’s experience about

-sales channels, including farmers markets and pop-up shops

-strategy

-finances

-work-life balance as a farmer

-health and wellness

-long term planning

Take a tour of the farm and learn general seed starting. Hands on  creative time making a wrap bouquet will round our day together.

Geared towards folks who are considering doing a cut flower business or are new to it withing 3 years.

How to Plant and Grow a Floral Cutting Garden with Wavra Nursery

Come Join us and learn all about growing a floral cutting garden! We have the privilege of joining Diane, the owner of Wavra Nursery, and Beth from Crowley House Flower Farms,  to learn all about growing a lovely flower patch of your own, or expand on your existing garden. Learn tips and tricks from these two experts!

No experience is needed to enjoy our class!  Beth and Diane will guide you through all the steps to get you started with growing your own cutting garden.

You will receive 36 pre started flower starts, 1 self watering tray, soil, and participants will have a selection of seeds to start in class. We will also provide hot beverages and pastries to enjoy during the workshop. There will be other plants available for purchasing that will work great for a cutting garden along with Beth and Sarahs new book, Furrow and Flour.

Holiday Wreath Making Class – November 27

Come gather with friends on our cozy farm and get into that holiday spirit! A festive environment will greet you as you enjoy our 2-hour wreath making workshop.

 

 

No experience is needed to enjoy our class!  Beth will guide you through all the steps to create your evergreen wreath, and all the supplies will be provided.

 

Mulled cider and light snacks will be provided to help you make merry!  You’ll take home a beautiful wreath to grace your front door that will last through the New Year and a newfound confidence in wreath making.

We can’t wait to welcome you to our farm this holiday season!

Join us for an evening at Crowley House Farms. Take in the scenery, sip a glass of local wine, and create something beautiful to take home.

To start out, grab a glass of wine chosen carefully from one of our favorite local wineries, then find a seat and relax.  Beth will start us out with a talk about foraging for Fall textures, the transition of waning summer and fall beginning, and what that means for your garden, and bringing some fall beauty into your home for the cooler months.

We will then forage around the farm for flowers and fall textures, Then just enjoy the slow movement of time with friends both old and new as you make your own floral design and snack on some tasty bites.
